Foundations of wind turbine generators in Šilute wind farm

On 10 July 2015, UAB Merko Statyba, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, has entered into a contract with GE WIND ENERGY GmbH, to perform the civil works in Šilute wind farm in Lithuania. Under the contract, UAB Merko Statyba will perform construction works of 24 reinforced concrete foundations for wind turbine generators.

The value of the contract is 6.5 million euros, plus value added tax. The construction works start in July 2015 and the works are scheduled to complete in November 2015.
