Merko Lithuania 9 months results

The turnover of UAB Merko statyba from general contracting agreements for the first three quarters of 2025 amounted to EUR 75.4 million. During this period, preliminary sales agreements were signed for 177 apartments.

“Our business is project-based. Implementing a large-scale construction project takes two to three years, and the company’s turnover varies significantly as a result. This fluctuation is particularly evident in the construction and installation of wind farm infrastructure, which currently accounts for a significant share of Merko’s construction activities,” comments Saulius Putrimas, Head of Merko Lithuania.

In the previous year, which was a record year in terms of turnover, more than EUR 160 million came from wind farm construction works. Infrastructure was built and 87 foundations were completed.

“Under our existing BOP contracts, our construction work includes not only foundation pouring but also all infrastructure and engineering tasks up until the turbines begin operating. The different works carried out at various stages generate highly uneven revenues, and this is reflected in the company’s turnover,” added S. Putrimas.
